About Us
The Canadian Energy Marketers Association (CEMA) is a national not-for-profit trade association representing the unique interests of its members. CEMA supports its membership in growing and adapting their businesses in an ever-changing market while pursuing opportunities for greater innovation to improve environmental and sustainability impacts as our industry does its part to work towards net-zero by 2050.
CEMA has become a fixture in the Canadian energy industry, a champion for sector agility and advocate for government policy that ensures a strong Canadian supply chain that can process, distribute, and sell a diverse mix of energy solutions as part of Canada’s long-term carbon- reduction strategy.
Members include a network of progressive leaders who are responsible for the distribution of diverse products from gasoline, diesel, heating oil, propane and aviation fuel to low-carbon transportation energy solutions including renewable fuels and electric vehicle charging stations across a vast geography, to diverse industries, and to millions of Canadian consumers.
Through its network and distribution partners, the association’s members serve the commercial, agricultural, industrial, wholesale and retail markets in every part of the country. Each has a strong connection to the communities they serve and plays a critical role in Canada’s post-pandemic green economic recovery plan.
